The ARMY charity force has done it again. On August 29th, for every tweet using #BumbleGivesBack, the location-based social and dating application donated $50 to Women for Women International, an organization dedicated to helping women rebuild their lives after war. With ARMY’s help, it was no trouble at all; Bumble stated they met their campaign goal quickly due to the help of the BTS fans.
ARMY is no stranger when it comes to helping out in Twitter charity campaigns like these and has dedicated their efforts to many of them before, including #RoarForChange, #ForceForChange and #EatLikeAPro (all for UNICEF), #KraftBearHugs which donated $200,00 for ill children, #TheDruProject for support in the LGBTQ+ community, and #WhatsItGonnaTake which gathered donations towards Puerto Rico in light of its recent hardships. BTS also has its own UNICEF campaign Love Myself. Three percent of all BTS album sales, which ARMYs buy a substantial amount of, go towards the campaign.
