23, is the leader and rapper of the group. He is a prolific songwriter with over 80 songs accredited to his name by the Korea Music Copyright Association. RM began as a rapper in the underground rap scene in South Korea and was the first member to work under Big Hit Entertainment. He is known for his introspective lyrics and impeccable rap flow. As one of the most promising young rappers in the industry, he has released a number of solos including his first mixtape in 2015 entitled “RM” and has also collaborated with American rapper Wale and rock band Fall Out Boy.
