BTS is coming to the GRAMMY Museum. The Grammy museum is affiliated with the world-renowned GRAMMY awards.

The GRAMMY Museum is an “interactive, educational museum devoted to the history and winners of the GRAMMY Awards” that exhibits showcasing artists from time to time in their air of education; previous features include Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson.

BTS is scheduled to have an ‘intimate conversation’ with the GRAMMY Museum Artistic Director that likely includes an interview portion on September 11th. Artists visiting the museum generally showcase acoustic versions of their songs and share details about their most recent projects. With BTS, it's been confirmed that the show will only be a conversation without performances. The museum is in Los Angeles and the BTS event date lines up well with their Staples Center show dates.

The Clive Davis Theater where the BTS event will be held houses 200 seats in a state-of-the-art enviroment. The size allows the sense of intimacy described by the museum in the preview for the event and the theater is “perfect for hosting concerts [and] meetings.”

Tickets for the event are meant to go on sale on August 30th and cost 25$ but they are already sold out. The event starts at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:30 P.M.

While the Korean band has never received a GRAMMY nomination, the season is prime for one. BTS just released their fresh new album Love Yourself: Answer and the album is on track to break the band’s own previous records set by Love Yourself: Tear. Love Yourself: Tear went straight to number one on the Billboard 200 its first week and achieved a perfect all kill on the Korean charts with its lead single “FAKE LOVE.” “FAKE LOVE” entered the Hot 100 at number ten.

For a band who has yet to even attend the GRAMMY awards, let alone be nominated for one, the invitation for the GRAMMY museum hints at their potential nomination and/or involvement with the organization in the future. When the next award season rolls around, it wouldn’t be surprising to see BTS’ name up for a nomination or two. Working with the GRAMMYs is a monumental step in recognition for an artist.

You can watch the music video for BTS’ new lead single from Love Yourself: Answer, “Idol,” here.

Love Yourself: Answer is available on all digital music platforms.
